Instructions
- Cook the noodles: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the noodles and cook according to package instructions (about 8–10 minutes). Drain, reserving 1/4 cup of the pasta water.
- Melt the butter: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Toss the noodles: Add the drained noodles to the skillet and toss to coat in the butter. Add a little of the reserved pasta water if the noodles seem dry.
- Add seasonings: Stir in the Parmesan cheese, black pepper, and salt to taste. Continue tossing until the noodles are evenly coated with butter and cheese.
- Finish and serve: Garnish with fresh parsley, if using. Serve warm.
